Technology Proficiency Courses
The Cape May County ETTC is proud to offer all of the courses specified for the Technology Proficiency Certificates announced by NJ Commissioner of Education David C. Hespe in September 1999. These certificates will be co-signed by the ETTC and the New Jersey Department of Education's Office of Educational Technology.
The Cape May County ETTC is registered with the New Jersey Department of Education's Professional Development Provider System. If any of our workshops are included in a teacher's Professional Improvement Plan (PIP), hours earned through these certificate courses (or any ETTC workshop) after September 1, 2000 can count towards the new requirement for 100 hours of professional development over a 5-year period.Beginner Level - PLEASE NOTE: Although the following outline delineates only the general skills to be covered in each course, emphasis will be placed on integrating these technologies into the classroom in support of the Core Curriculum Content Standards.
