3. Working with graphic organizers

a. Saving a graphic organizer from the Internet

Visit Region 15 Graphic Organizer collection and select one file to modify and save to your ETTC folder - www.region15.org/curriculum/graphicorg.html

b. Finding, Copyrights and Saving Images from the Internet

Step 1 - We will use school.discovery.com/ - visit the site and download two clipartimages to your ETTC folder

Step 2 - Start MS Word and create a Citation file (see example). You should always update this file as you save clipart images. Create the file and create the citations for your two clipart images - see school.discovery.com/clipart/copyright.html for copyright example

c. Inserting Clipart into your graphic organizer

Step 1 - open your graphic organizer file in MS Word

Step 2 - navigate to the place in your graphic organizer where you will be inserting your image

Step 3 - from the Inset Menu choose Picture and then From File and navigate to the ETTC folder and select an image
